Our traditional cask conditioned ales can be bought at many fine pubs in Telford, throughout Shropshire and further afield too. Available in 9 gallon and 18 gallon casks we can also supply cask conditioned beer for your party. (If you prefer "bright" beer then please give us at least 4 days notice.) We also have a small number of traditional beer engines (hand pulls) which we can loan you. In addition to this we often have a selection of our beers available direct from the brewery in 5, 10 or 20 litre polypins.
All of our beers are available as bottle conditioned real ales. Bottle conditioned beers have a natural yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle and this is what creates the natural carbonation which keeps the beer fresh and alive. Care has to be taken when pouring the beer so that the sediment is left in the bottom of the bottle. All of our bottle conditioned beers satisfy the CAMRA real ale in a bottle criteria and they now carry the CAMRA RAIB logo. Our bottle conditioned beers taste just like the cask version and they're a really convenient way to enjoy real ale at home and you can now purchase them on line here.
Some of our beers are also available filtered. Filtered beers don't have the hassle associated with the yeast sediment but they don't qualify as real ale as prescribed by our friends in CAMRA. They're flippin good for supping chilled, straight from the bottle at the barbecue though!.
Coracle is a classic 'Session Beer' at 3.8% in cask and 3.9% in bottle. Coracle benefits from lots of late hopping with traditional Goldings whole leaf hop which gives it a super, refreshing flavour. Coracle was selected to be on sale in The House of Commons in November 2008. Pity that coincided with the increase in beer duty!
Ironbridge Pale Ale is our latest and greatest. A 4% pale ale with shed loads of hop flavour and aroma thanks to the Brewer's Gold and Tettnang hops. We put loads more of these beauties in to the copper after the flame out to add to the hop character without adding extra bitterness. Then we chuck another couple of kilos in to the FV after fermentation for good measure. Ironbridge Pale Ale has won the Shropshire Brewers Challenge Trophy 2009-2010 awarded by Shrewsbury CAMRA.
1779 is a light straw coloured best bitter at 4.2% ABV in cask and 4.3% in bottle. Lots of interesting malt character is finely balanced by a super hop zing to make 1779 one of our best sellers.

Ironbridge Gold is a very light golden colour. It's a premium smooth ale, weighing in at 4.5% in the cask and 4.6% in bottle. This is the beer we first brewed for the 2008 Ironbridge Brass Band Festival. It became so popular we had to make it part of our permanent lineup. Gold won a prestigious silver medal at the 2008 Peterborough Beer Festival for 'Best Beer From A New Brewery'.
Foundry Gold started out in life called Hickok Gold. Brewed originally for The Maverick Drinking House in Stourbridge this 4.5% hoppy golden ale has established itself as a firm favourite and is now part of our permanent lineup.
Ironbridge Special Bitter is very special indeed. A full bodied traditional ale with delicious citrus character from late additions of First Gold and Cascade whole leaf hops. ISB is 5% in cask and 5.1% in bottle.
An authentic Mild recreated from a brewer's archive dating back to 1864. This is a heady brew indeed, packed with malty sweetness but beware - Milds in those days were not weak. Heritage Mild is a 5.5% ABV recreation of a classic beer from yester year.
Shankers' Tipple is a full bodied malty ale with a nutty flavour. Mid to dark brown in colour it is topped off with a thick white head. ABV is 4.6% in cask.
We brewed the Autumn Special for the 2008 Ironbridge Heritage Festival. This delicious, warming ale has a slight reddish tint and a fantastic hint of orange citrus from the First Gold whole hops. The cask version of Autumn is 4.6% and it's 4.7% in the bottle.
Our 4% Christmas brew, Four Candles benefits from four different malts and four hop additions. Not to be confused with handles for forks.
